Data collection and use when visiting the website In principle, you can visit our website without providing any personal information. Nevertheless, each time you request a file through your Internet browser, access data (including the name of the page or file accessed, date and time, Internet browser used, the page from which you reached us (referer), screen resolution and operating system, etc.) are sent and evaluated by us for statistical purposes. Data will not be passed on to third parties, not even in extracts.
Data collection and use when sending our newsletter If you register for our newsletter, we process all the data you provide (e-mail address, preferred language) for sending. In addition to this data, we collect information about your individual use of the newsletter (including the number and date of the received mailings, opening rate, click rate on links as well as the mail programme and terminal device used). We use this data to continuously adapt our offer to the needs and interests of our users so that our newsletter contains information that is relevant to you. You can unsubscribe from further mailings at any time free of charge via a link in each individual mailing and by sending a message to info@aha.co.at. We store your data for the duration of the newsletter subscription. In case of your consent or due to a legitimate interest, we store it beyond this period.

Use of cookies In order to make your visit to our websites more attractive and to make it easier for you to use certain functions, we use so-called cookies that are stored on your terminal device. These are small text files that enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. In addition, the website https://www.aha.co.at/ uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics, a service of Google Inc ("Google"), which has a Privacy Shield certification. Google Analytics uses "cookies" to enable us to analyse the use of our website and thus to further develop our offer and our website in line with requirements (= legitimate interest). The information generated by the cookie is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA together with the IP address and stored there. We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation activated. This means that your IP address is shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and only there will it be pseudonymised by shortening. You have the option of preventing cookies from being stored on your terminal device at any time by making the appropriate settings in your browser, although this may restrict the range of functions offered by our website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your website use by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Data subject rights: a) You can request information from us at any time as to whether and to what extent we are processing your data. If we process personal data that is incomplete or incorrect, you can demand that we correct or complete it at any time. b) You can demand that we delete your personal data if we use your data in an unlawful manner. In addition, as of 25.5.2018, you have the right to restrict the processing of your data, provided that the conditions set out in Article 18 (1) of the GDPR are met. c) As of 25 May 2018, you have the right to have us transfer to you the data you have provided to us for processing in a structured, common and machine-readable format, provided that we process the data on the basis of your consent or for the purpose of fulfilling a contract and this processing is carried out with the help of automated procedures. d) In the event that we use your data for the performance of tasks in the public interest or we rely on the necessity of the processing to protect our legitimate interests, you may object to the data processing if you have an overriding interest in the protection of your data. If you wish to assert one of the aforementioned data subject rights against us, please use the contact options mentioned under point 1. Please understand that in this case we may request additional information from you to confirm your identity.

Right of complaint: If you are of the opinion that we are processing your data unlawfully, we request that you contact us for immediate clarification. You also have the right to complain directly to the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Wickenburggasse 8-10, 1080 Vienna. Your trust is important to us. We would therefore be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the processing of your personal data. If you have any questions that are not answered by this privacy policy, we will be happy to answer them at any time.
